When you make a purchase, you’ll receive an extra set of drums to customize your carding experience for different fibers. Choose from 54 TPI (Coarse), 72 TPI (Standard), or 120 TPI (Fine) drums.

Crafted with precision, this drum carder ensures smooth and quiet operation. The birch plywood frame measures 14” x 24” (35 x 60cm), and the highly tempered steel carding cloth guarantees long-lasting performance.

The drum carder yields batts sized at 12” x 24” (30 x 60cm). Simply attach the handle upon receiving it, and you’re ready to go.

Featuring interchangeable drums, this carder allows easy configuration adjustments for different fiber types:

• 54TPI (Coarse) – Ideal for the coarsest wool.
• 72 TPI (Standard) – Suited for common wool types.
• 120 TPI (Fine) – Perfect for delicate fibers like cotton, alpaca, or angora.

**OPTIONAL Packer Brush**

The packer brush increases the density of the batt by compacting the fibers during the carding process. The brush presses the fibers deeper into the main drum’s pins. Please note that the packer brush is compatible exclusively with GFC drum carders.
