Gripper frames

We take immense pride in introducing our range of Rug Hooking Frames, also known as gripper frames, specifically designed for needle punching and rug hooking.

These frames are available in three sizes to suit your needs.

Frame sizes (measured inside the frame):

• 8″ x 8″ (205x205mm) – Weight: 0.8kg
• 12″ x 12″ (305x305mm) – Weight: 1.2kg
• 16″ x 16″ (405x405mm) – Weight: 1.5kg

Frame sizes (measured outside the frame):

• 10″ x 10″ (250x250mm) – Weight: 0.8kg
• 14″ x 14″ (350x350mm) – Weight: 1.2kg
• 18″ x 18″ (450x450mm) – Weight: 1.5kg

Additionally, please ensure you choose the appropriate PPSI (Pins Per Square Inch) for your work:

• 300 PPSI is suitable for Burlap or Linen.
• 380 PPSI is suitable for Monk’s cloth or Linen.
• 480 PPSI is ideal for very fine Linen or Punch Needle work.

Important Note: All of our gripper frames come with pre-drilled holes on the sides which are used to fix them in a table stand in case you purchase one at a later time.
